Dress up – what to wear on a campus tour

NSM wants to make sure you’re dressed appropriately for any occasion. Read about the right (and sometimes wrong) ways to dress for success!

Dress up for: a campus tour
This fall, as you go on campus tours, remember that you will be walking a lot. Your favorite comfy jeans and a pair of sneakers will do you just fine. If you want to dress the outfit up a little bit for a meeting with admissions, add a bright dress shirt, a stylish jacket and nice shoes.

Dress up tip: don’t be that girl
Keep the party dress for the party when you interview for a job, visit a college or want to impress. You may think you look your hottest when you wear this little number, but bare shoulders and tight attire are never a good idea when trying to get a job or get into your first-pick college.
