Amount: Waiver of out of state tuition (present value is $9,384 per year)
Award Details: Student must have either: High School GPA 3.0 with 23 composite ACT or 1070 SAT (Critical Reading and Math), or High School GPA 3.5 with 20 composite ACT or 950 SAT (Critical Reading and Math), or College transfer with 3.5 GPA. A $200 deposit is required to hold the scholarship and is applied at registration toward the resident tuition at the rate of $100 per semester. Scholarship: Western Undergraduate Exchange Waiver
Amount: Student is charged 1½ times the resident tuition rate which is currently $2,789 per semester or $5,578 per year (an annual savings of $7,860).
Award Details: Awards are limited to undergraduate students from the 14 western-most states consisting of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho,Montana, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
Students must have graduated from an accredited high school with a minimum GPA of 2.00 or successfully completed the GED. A current driver’s license from the student’s home state. The waiver is renewable for up to four years as long as the student maintains a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 with WNMU and successfully completes 24 credit hours for each academic year the waiver is awarded.
