Scholarship: Bucks County Community College Foundation Director's Endowment Scholarship
Amount: $500 to $1,000
Award details: Applicants must possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0, be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credits in a program in one of the College's six academic departments. To receive the scholarship, the recipient(s) must re-enroll at BCCC in a minimum of six (6) credits the following fall or spring semester after the award is made. At all times, candidates/recipient(s) must be in good academic standing and in conformance with the College's Code of Conduct; both will be verified by the Foundation Office. Award details: Established by the friends and colleagues of Harry W. Fawkes as a tribute to his many years of service to the community, this scholarship provides financial assistance to graduates of Bucks County high schools, who reside in Bucks County, Pa., and intend to reside in Bucks County during the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded. Applicants must be or intend to enroll at BCCC on a full-time basis (minimum of 12 credits per semester), and must be in good academic standing and in conformance with the College's Code of Conduct.

Award details: This competitive merit scholarship is a four year, renewable award offered to students who display exceptional academic achievement. Students are nominated to compete for this award and are invited to participate in Presidential Scholars Days, a celebration of academic achievement at Canisius. In order to be considered, students must be accepted to Canisius no later than January 15th.

Scholarship: Fine Arts Scholarships
Amount: $2,000
Award details: Fine Arts scholarships are comprised of awards in the categories of art history, dance, music and studio arts. These scholarships are renewable for four years and are in additional to any merit scholarships awarded at acceptance. These competitive scholarships are given to students who have participated in the aforementioned activities in high school and plan to continue in college. Award details: The Urban Leadership Learning Community Scholarship is a competitive, four-year award that covers 50 – 100% of tuition, room, board and fees depending on the quality of the application and demonstrated financial need. Candidates will demonstrate leadership potential, come from a background that has been traditionally underrepresented (i.e. first generation to attend college), and be a native of the Buffalo Metropolitan area. Scholarship: World Ready Women
Amount: Up to $3,000
Award details: For female students that display outstanding leadership qualities. Students must attend Chatham University’s World Ready Women Scholarship Day (December 4, 2011 or February 18, 2012) to qualify for the scholarship. Only accepted students are eligible to attend this event. Participation must occur prior to the student's first term at Chatham University. This scholarship is renewable annually based on a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher and full-time enrollment at Chatham.  The priority deadline is February 1, 2012.

Scholarship: 1869 Academic Excellence Award
Amount: $20,000 (replaces all other Chatham scholarships previously awarded)
Award details: This scholarship recognizes not only outstanding academic achievements, but women’s leadership and community service. Selection for the scholarship is highly competitive; only 10 new scholarships are awarded each year. This scholarship is renewable annually based on a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and full-time enrollment at Chatham. The priority deadline is March 1, 2012.

Scholarship: Girl Scout Leadership Award
Amount: $2,000
Award details: This scholarship is offered to women who were members of Girl Scouts for a minimum of two years, but not Gold Award recipients. Candidates must provide proof of membership and complete the Girls Scout scholarship application. Renewable annually based on a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher, full-time enrollment at Chatham University, and participation in Chatham’s community service activities. The priority deadline is March 1, 2012.

Scholarship: Dean's Scholarship
Amount: At least $10,000 per annum. Awards may range up to $22,000 if need is demonstrated.
Award details: Freshman applicants who display a composite of strong overall high school performance and proven academic potential as shown by SAT or ACT scores. Awards are granted on the basis of excellent academic achievement in high school, test scores and personal characteristics. Elizabeth Powers Carlino Scholars Program
The Elizabeth Powers Carlino Scholars Program provides scholarships to two incoming freshmen students. The Carlino Scholars receive a renewal of scholarship funding through their undergraduate educational program which typically includes four years of study. Through a special feature of the program, Carlino Scholars will receive grants for travel/study abroad. Students use these funds for international travel that includes a combination of academic and cultural experiences.

Award details: The Philadelphia Scholar Awards will cover full-time tuition after all other sources of need-based aid are exhausted. To be considered for this award, students must be accepted by March 1 prior to fall enrollment. To continue eligibility, students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.

Amount: four-year, full-tuition
Award details: Three full-tuition scholarships awarded to women who declare a major and plan to pursue a career in the fields of natural science, mathematics or computer science. Applicants are required to have a minimum of a 3.5 cumulative high school grade point average on a 4.0 scale and a 1300/1600 SAT or 29 ACT. A separate application and an on-campus interview are required. Applicants are encouraged to apply for admission through the Early Action process. The Scholarship  application deadline is February 1.

Scholarship: Academy of Food Marketing Scholarships

Award details: Awarded to new freshmen who select either the four-year or five-year Food Marketing major. Students must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The scholarship review takes place in March. Consideration is given to financial need as well as the applicant's academic record and SAT or ACT scores. Villiger Speech and Debate Society Scholarship

Award details: The Villiger Speech and Debate Society offers scholarships to new freshmen who have excelled in high school speech and/or debate competitions and wish to continue their forensic careers in college. Typically, the value of the scholarships ranges from one-third to one-half tuition, and each year two to three scholarships are awarded. A separate application is required. Qualified applicants will be invited to campus for an interview and a chance to audition in the speaking event of their choice.

Scholarship: Honors Program
Amount: Full Tuition Scholarship
Award details: Designed to provide a highly challenging academic program for students of superior academic ability, based on their high school grades, course content, and standardized test scores. Acceptance into the Honors Program will qualify the student for a full tuition scholarship, as well as a study abroad at Oxford University. All completed applications are reviewed for eligibility. No separate application is required. Requirements for Honors Program: Re-calculated high school GPA of 3.6 or higher in major subjects at the time of application; combined SAT scores of at least 1200 on the Critical Reading and Math sections with no section less than 550 or ACT composite of 27.

Scholarship: Academic and Merit Scholarships
Amount: $3,000-$10,000
Award details: New freshmen and transfer students are reviewed for these awards. Awards are keyed to overall applications, high school or college GPAs, cumulative scores on the Scholastic Achievement Test (SAT) or composite scores on the American College Testing (ACT) Examination, strong letters of recommendation, and moderate to high levels of community service. Requirements for Academic Scholarships: 3.0 GPA or above and at least a 900 (CR & Math) SAT or 19 ACT

Requirements for Merit Scholarships: 2.5-2.9 GPA and at least a 900 (CR & Math) SAT or 19 ACT

Scholarship: Yellow Ribbon Program/Veteran's Scholarship
Amount: up to full tuition
Award details: St. Thomas Aquinas College is proud to announce its participation in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Yellow Ribbon Program. The college’s participation in the program includes a scholarship that will enable some veterans, depending on the type and amount of their GI bill education benefits, to earn a college degree for free. The VA will provide a dollar for dollar match of St. Thomas’ VA scholarship, resulting in a full tuition scholarship for the veteran.

Amount: $3000
Award details:Minimum requirements for consideration are a 94% unweighted high school average, 1250 SAT or 28 ACT score and once enrolled they must achieve a minimum 3.25 GPA to retain this award. Students must also live in college residence hall

Scholarship: Fredonia Science Achievement Award
Amount: $8000
Award details: One scholarship will be available to a Biology major, while two will be available to Chemistry majors.  Minimum qualifications for consideration are a 90% unweighted high school average, 1,250 SAT or 28 ACT, along with strong Regents test scores in both Science and Math.  The top applicants for this award will also be required to write an essay that discusses their career plans and dreams.

Scholarship: Dean's Scholar Award
Amount: $2000
Award details: Recipients are selected based upon academic achievement and participation in school and community activities. To be eligible for consideration as a freshman, a student must present an unweighted high school average of at least 90% and a minimum SAT score of 1150 or 25 ACT score.

Award details:  $82,000 ($20,500 per academic year). To be eligible, students must present a minimum G.P.A. of 3.75 in college preparatory subjects* or be in the top 10% of their class and have a minimum 1300 SAT (math + cr) or a 29 ACT composite. Scholarships are renewable for up to four years, provided recipients maintain an overall G.P. A. of 3.0 or higher.

Amount: $74,000
Award details: $74,000 ($18,500 per academic year). To be eligible, students must present a minimum G.P.A. of 3.7 in college preparatory subjects* or be in the top 20% of their class and have a minimum 1200 SAT (math + cr) or a 27 ACT composite. Scholarships are renewable for up to four years, provided recipients maintain an overall G.P. A. of 3.0 or higher.

Scholarship: President’s Scholarship
Amount: $70,000
Award details: $70,000 ($17,500 per academic year). To be eligible, students must present a minimum G.P.A. of 4.0 in college preparatory subjects.

Scholarship: Faculty Scholarship
Amount: 25 % of tuition for four years
Award details: 3.0 to 3.39 cumulative GPA in a college preparatory curriculum and rank in top 50% of class at time of application for admission
