Intramural sports offer a great way to be active and involved! They provide a balance of fun and competition, with plenty of memories to be made. OBU intramurals include a variety of sports, from flag football and ultimate Frisbee to lesser-known sports such as futsal and quidditch. You might even spot one of your professors among the competitors.

Athletics / Sports
This is your invitation to join a community of sports lovers, a world-class coaching staff and committed athletes. Whether you want to scream like a maniac from the stands or stretch your athletic ability, OBU has a place for you on the team.
We offer 21 varsity sports and eight junior varsity sports, making us one of the largest programs in the NAIA.
Our athletes have claimed 179 All-American recognitions. When you join OBU Athletics, you’re joining good company – the company of champions.
Eligibility requirements—Must meet two out of three of the following criteria:
Cumulative high school GPA of at least a 2.0
ACT composite of at least 18/ SAT of at least 860
Top 50 percent of high school graduating class

Dreaming big doesn’t mean a big price tag. We think you will be surprised how affordable OBU truly is. In fact, 99 percent of our students receive some form of financial aid. This year, we provided $20.5 million in scholarships to individuals just like you. We offer grants based on financial need and academic, athletic and talent scholarships.

Admission
No essay, no application fee required.
Regular Admission: Those having an ACT composite of at least a 20 or a recentered SAT of at least 950 and:
- Weighted high school GPA of at least 3.00 or
- Class rank in the upper half
