One of the best ways to discover if training and working in Commercial Diving or Non Destructive Testing is right for you is to come in for a personal tour where you can see divers in the water and hands-on NDT demonstrations.
When touring, you will get a first hand look at our facilities, including an elaborate dive tank complex, decompression chambers, diving bell, plus NDT projects, NDT equipment, welding machines and much more.
The Admissions Office conducts tours twice daily:
- Monday through Friday at 10:30am
- Monday through Friday at 1:30pm

Facilities and Resources
Students attending The Ocean Corporation will train at the school’s 4.2 acre campus in Houston, Texas complete with six diving tanks, a multi-station welding complex, six classrooms, and magnetic particle laboratory. The Ocean Corporation also shares a marine science campus with Texas A & M in Galveston, Texas where students will conduct openwater diving operations and Offshore Safety and Survival training.
Financial Aid / Tuition
The first step in the financial aid application process is the submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This process can be completed quickly and easily on the United States Department of Education’s website at www.fafsa.ed.gov. This application will determine your eligibility for Federal Pell Grants and federal student loans.
- Go to the FAFSA website
- Complete the FAFSA application with your personal information
- Add The Ocean Corporation’s school code #026002 for your school choice
- Sign the application using your 4 digit Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID
- Submit application
Your eligibility results will be sent to our Financial Aid Office within 5-7 business days. To discuss you eligibility results, call our Financial Aid Department at 1(800) 321-0298.
The Ocean Corporation is here to help guide you through the admissions process. Our admissions representatives work with candidates one-on-one to assess their qualifications and answer any questions.
In addition to physical and educational requirements, successful applicants must have a strong work ethic, a high mechanical aptitude for hands-on work and a love of the water. To ensure safety and quality of education, the Ocean Corp enrolls no more than 30 candidates for each class.
How to Apply:
Complete the online application, come in and apply in person or fill out page 31 and 32 in our Catalog and mail, fax (281-530-9143) or email (email@example.com) them in; and pay your $100 application fee. Fee’s can be paid via cash, check or credit card.
*We do not currently support online fee payment.
Complete the FAFSA by going to www.fafsa.ed.gov and following the instructions there. Our school code is 026002.
