The College’s unique programs integrate theoretical and applied knowledge in the health professions with a mix of liberal arts, general education and science courses. Students benefit from hands-on-learning in the College’s well equipped laboratories and computer centers. Our graduates are enlightened citizens as well as competent practitioners. MCPHS graduates are in great demand, even before they graduate. Because the College is located in the heart of Boston’s world-renowned Longwood Medical and Academic Area, and has affiliations with Boston’s high caliber medical centers, top teaching hospitals and pharmacies, the students are ensured the highest quality experience.

Campus Life

Boston is a wonderful place to live and learn. It is a college town in the best sense of the word-cultural, accessible, and pulsing with activity. One of the benefits of attending an urban school is the vibrancy of the city around it. Like MCPHS itself, Boston is small enough to get to know, but large enough for continual discovery. It offers everything you would expect from a world-class city, yet in a very compact, easily traveled space.

Facilities and Resources

The externship/clinical experience is a very important part of an MCPHS education and is built into most programs. The programs place students in professional settings for firsthand learning and guidance, as they work with a mentor from a sponsoring institution’s staff.
