Athletics / Sports

Athletics at Le Moyne College is more than just an opportunity for student-athletes to excel during competition within the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Northeast 10 Conference (NE-10). By interlacing Jesuit values with competition, Le Moyne Athletics has become a “nationally premier Division II athletic program in the Jesuit tradition.” This means that student-athletes at Le Moyne College are exactly what their title implies and more – “students” and “athletes” who compete at a nationally premier level both in the classroom and in athletic competition while belonging to a Jesuit-based athletic culture. Academically, our entire body of student-athletes have compiled 21 straight semesters with an average of a 3.0 or higher. In 2003, the College was ranked #1 nationwide for having the highest graduation rate of student-athletes among the 270 NCAA Division II schools. Along with academic excellence, Le Moyne has had the distinction of winning five national championships at the Division II level – four in Lacrosse and one in Swimming. Comprising of 19 intercollegiate teams, intramural and club sports opportunities, Le Moyne Athletics strives to offer a differentiated experience that is competitive academically and athletically and is rooted within the Jesuit tradition – an experience that is “uniquely Jesuit.”

Financial Aid / Tuition

Le Moyne is one of America's "best buys" in higher education according to Barron's, U.S. News & World Report, and other publications. Each year the College commits more than $18 million to financial aid including numerous merit-based scholarships and need-based grants. More than 90 percent of current students receive some form of financial assistance.

Le Moyne College has an Early Action application deadline date of November 15 and a Rolling Admission priority deadline of February 1st. All freshmen applicants must submit the following: a completed application form, an official high school transcript, official SAT I or ACT results, letter of recommendation from your guidance/college counselor or 3 letters from other sources, and a completed personal statement.
