Gannon offers nearly 100 academic programs in the health professions, engineering, business, education, social sciences and the humanities in the University’s three Colleges: Engineering and Business, Health Professions and Sciences, and Humanities, Education and Social Sciences.

Facilities and Resources
We are located in Pennsylvania's fourth largest city and one of the busiest ports on the Great Lakes. Gannon’s urban campus, in the middle of downtown Erie, is within a two-hour drive of Cleveland, Buffalo, and Pittsburgh. Our unique location and facilities create a special atmosphere conducive to learning, scholarship, research, service and personal growth.
Financial Aid / Tuition
At Gannon University, we are committed to offering you the best financial assistance package possible. We want your Gannon education to be exceptional and affordable. More than 90 percent of Gannon students qualify for financial assistance. We offer a variety of scholarships, grants and awards that recognize academic and athletic accomplishments, outstanding talents and demonstrated need. While income is an important part of financial strength, many other factors are examined when determining the amount and type of financial aid you will receive, such as family size, number of siblings in college and assets. We advise all students, no matter their income level, to complete the EVA and the FAFSA forms so they can be considered for every available resource.
Graduation from an approved secondary schools or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
Academic courses, grades, rank in class, and guidance counselor recommendation to be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. High school seniors are also required to submit SAT or ACT scores.
Personal Statement/Essay (optional, yet recommended; required for LECOM 4+4 Medical Program applicants).
Completion of 16 academic units at the high school level, four of which must be English. Depending on the academic program you are interested in, the remainder of the units must be comprised of a combination of social sciences, foreign language, mathematics, and science.
Students who have been diagnosed with a learning disability and who are interested in Gannon's PSLD Program will also need personal letters of recommendations, WAIS/WISC scores and subscores and records from any professional with whom the student has worked.
Other Cool Facts
Gannon competes in 18 varsity sports for men and women as a member of NCAA Division II and the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference. In addition, students at Gannon have the opportunity to participate in a number of different intramural sports including flag football, basketball, wiffleball and dodgeball among others.
