Admission

CONDITIONAL ADMISSION

To be considered for conditional admission to Arkansas State University, an applicant must meet the following requirements:

High School GPA (or comparable GED).
  • High School GPA of 2.30
  • GED 460-524 (if taken before 2002) or GED 460-549 (if taken after 2002) or GED 460-599 (if taken after 2014)
Official ACT Score (or comparable SAT, ASSET or COMPASS*):
  • A minimum ACT composite score of 19
  • SAT score of 910-989 on the Reading and Math combined 
  • 2016 SAT: score of 980 on the Reading and Math combined

          NOTE: Test scores must be within five years prior to application date.

UNCONDITIONAL ADMISSION

To be considered for unconditional admission to Arkansas State University, an applicant must meet the following requirements:

High School GPA (or comparable GED).

  • High School GPA of 2.75
  • GED 525 (if taken before 2002) or GED 550 (if taken after 2002) or GED 600 (if taken after 2014)
Official ACT Score (or comparable SAT, ASSET or COMPASS*):
  • A minimum ACT composite score of 21
  • SAT score of 990 on the Reading and Math combined
  • 2016 SAT: score of 1060 on the Reading and Math combined
