Amazing Grace

According to most religious scholars, we are all saved by grace. Whether you believe in a God or not, is of no importance. This story is not to pursue you to convert to any particular religion but to show you that in the darkest times of life, you’re not alone!

I don’t care what you say about your life. Someone else’s life is always worse. No matter your circumstance, no matter your background, no matter how screwed up you are. God is there! Some may say that I see no God, why should I believe in something that I can not see. I am too screwed up, he wouldn’t want me. Some would even say, God took my grandmother, mother, father, aunt, brother, sister, uncle, daughter, son or whoever you may have lost. I say none of that matters!

Most people have heard the legendary poem of Footprints in the sand. This poem is actually completely accurate. God carries you through your hardest moments in life, when all seems lost, I will promise you God is there. If you don’t believe me than continue reading in order to learn a little about my life and what god has done for me. Also read a life to remember and life comes at you fast, they are another testament to my life.

I have been through a lot in my life time. I am only 16 years old but have experienced more than most people my age. I grew up in what most people call the Ghetto. I was raised by a single mother for 12 years. My parents divorced when I was not even 6 months old. I grew up hearing that my dad was an evil man and he was no good. Growing up my mother was not the best mom. She was addicted to prescription medication and had different men all through her life.

I grew up in a very dysfunctional life and was never really introduced to God. In august of 2005, my grandmother died of lung cancer. I was really close to her and to really top it off my mother died less than a year later and I was forced to come life with my father. It turned out that my father actually lived in a nice home with a nice family. He had been trying to locate me for 3 years and had failed. I came to know who God was and learned more about him. There is way more than this to my life and I would love to share my testimony with you. If you have any question, even if it’s not related to this just send me an email (preferably in Next step) I should answer you to the best of my ability. Remember this, your never alone! Hope to hear from someone and help you out. My next story should be updated within the next week. It’s my Cardboard testimony.

Wow.  I kind of wish I'd read this before I asked you if you were saved on that other post. lol That's ok, though.  I'm glad you are, and I'm sorry to hear that you had a rough life.  But I'm glad that you came to know Christ as your Savior. :)
