Hey yall! I'm currently a junior and was wondering [for those older than me or my age that have a little more information] when is the ideal time to take the SATs and ACTs? Should I do them in my Junior year? Or wait until my senior year?
Is that even an OPTION to take the SAT and ACT as a junior?

HELP!

First off I love both those songs you quoted!! Second I would recommend taking it your Junior year. Just to get started plus you can always take it again. Third that advice was only for the ACT. Where I live we don't really have to take the SAT unless we go to a West or East coast school, so I have never taken it.

Take both of them in the spring of your Junior year and then if you don't do too well or want to try to get a higher score then take them again in the fall of your Senior year.

I agree with Doc_Ryan. I don't know about the ACT's but the SAT's you can definitely take as a junior and I strongly advise it. If you're unhappy with your initial scores, you can always retake it later on. Once you're a senior there's only a small window of time open to take your SAT's before scores need to be submitted to colleges.

Thanks everyone! I actually didnt realize that the SAT was this past Saturday, until it was too late. So, I'll probably end up taking the SAT in May and the ACT in June. Thanks for your help!
