So I have a plan, and it is not an easy one. Last year (sophomore year) I took a college anatomy class. It was difficult and I had to study much more than normal to make my usual A. The thing is though, I fell in love with it!!! I don't know why, but learning about the human body pulled my interests. Before I knew it, I was reading everything I could find about the body's functions, especially the cardiovascular system. I became almost obsessed with watching videos about it, and one day i stumbled upon a video of open heart surgery.
Now i have spent weeks and weeks researching the topic, and I know that I want to become a surgeon.
So now it all comes down to colleges. I have the grades... I think. I'm number 40 in my class, with a 4.3 GPA, but my GPA is sure to keep rising. I have signed up for five AP classes next year (junior year), one DE class, and one honors class.
But the school I want to go to, seems to be reserved fr the super smarties.
So, here is my question.
What can help me get into Stanford University?
