When it comes down to getting into your number 1 college who is best to write recommendations for you? I have gotten 2 recommendations from my history teachers because thats the field I want to go into, but I also asked my Math teacher and former YSLPP Program Director to write one for me because he loved me, and always wanted me to be successful and would do anything to help. But are these good people to ask?
The other thing is College Essay's. I have no idea where to start, I dont know what to write about and the sad thing is I am a writer! So if anyone could help...

The best people to write recommendations for you are: 1. the person the app asks for (some are specific for a school counselor, etc.); and 2. the adult who knows you best in a school or extracurricular setting. Sounds like you picked good ones.

That should be fine because these history teachers know how you are in history, and that is the career you want pursue.
