This is my Do- Over June23, 2012
This is my do-over. I would have learned how to sit my tail down and keep my mouth shut in class. Although I grasped 98% of class up until the second time in the ninth grade, things would have been so much better had I have taken into consideration the words of my mother. She would always say, you’re such a smart girl; you just need to apply yourself. All the while trying to instill values and morals that would continue on with me throughout my life. It was sit down, shut up and get my all my work done. If I had it to do over, that is exactly what I would have done. It is amazing to see how time has passed and experiences make us who we are in regards to being youthful. Now that I am 37 years old I find it astonishing to know that I have made it this far in life with nothing. Being "smart" will take you nowhere if you don't apply it. Being the class clown did not end up getting me through high school all those years ago. Do over you say? I can only say it all boils down to applying myself. That is what I have finally learned to do. You are such a smart girl you should apply yourself... Well here I come World. Applying Myself. Thank you for the opportunity to have a 2nd chance.
