I was quickly walking home one day because it was past the time i was suppose to be home. As i was walking i hear a weird sound. When i turned around it was this small black figure and then i went closer to it. It was a black and white cat. It was really skinny about 2 to 3 pounds. I couldn't believe it. The first thought on my mind was to get it some water and food. Being a few blocks away from my house i had to carry it. As i was carrying it i had to pass the police station and it was past curfew. So i slowly crept by them without anyone from there noticing until the cat meowed and someone was outside. They looked over and i ran. I finally made it home but i didn't want to tell my family about the cat thinking that they wouldn't let me keep it. I quickly walked by and went into my room. I had another cat so it was easy to get it food and water. By the time it started eating i had to find out what to do with it. It was late by then so i decided to get some sleep and figure it out later. I laid in my bed and closed my eyes and gently went to sleep. When i woke up i looked at the clock it was about 2:00am and i turned to see the cat sitting in the back of my room meowing. Then i got up and turned on the lights to see if something happened but there wasn't anything wrong with the cat. At that second i realized i forgot a liter box. i quietly went to go get one from the other cat. I came back with one and finally got to sleep again. Then i woke up at 6:00am for school. I totally forgot about it. I hid the cat and tried to convince my dad that i was sick so i wouldn't have to go. It didn't work so i went. When i came home the front door was open for my outdoor cat. Then i went to my room and that door was opened to. I started to panic. I went to my dad and asked him and he said it smelled so he left the door open so it could air out. I searched my house and never found it. I searched around the neighborhood and still couldn't find it. I gave up looking for it. Then two weeks later i saw a lost cat poster. It was the same cat. A couple days later someone returned the cat. I knew that id never see that cat again.
