It was the beginning of sophomore year. Quiet, shy little me had to perform in front of the entire school at the homecoming pep rally. It was my first performance- ever. Naturally, I was freakishly nervous. So of course, the world decides to entertain itself in the worst way possible in which I fell and the entire first half of the skit fell to pieces because I fell, face-first, after running into the girl in front of me.
Fun stuff.
Well, I didn't stop performing. Junior year, I performed again at the pep rally and didn't fail. My friend and I did another dance performance at a fashion show back in February.
Moral of the story is: don't fall on your face- it hurts- and don't let your nerves trip you up.
It took me an entire year to learn this. But yeah, I would do it over and over again to remind myself that falling hurts, so be confident enough to not let yourself fall.

My life happened the way it did so I could learn a lesson from every mistake. Doing something over to fix an error is causing error itself by eliminating that lesson. If I ever get the chance to redo something, I will because I need to remind myself of that lesson, not to correct a mistake I learned from.
