There's nothing wrong with having that dream school that you know you want to get into, but you should probably have a back up plan.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket!!

Look for another school that can be your fallback incase something happens and you can't get into that dream college.

I think that it is wonderful that you have a college picked out. But you should make sure that you explore all of your options. Congrats on having a college picked out.

That's great that you have already choosen a dream college. That just means that you are planning ahead for your career. If your not 100% sure about if your going to be able to get into the school, then I suggest you to have a safety school. A school that you're absoulutely sure you can get into.

Yes you should, but don't give up that school if you really want to go there! I chose one in 9th grade which I am now going to attend this fall! You should keep looking for a backup plan. I hope you get in your first choice, but you have to be prepared in the case you don't get in. If your a senior and you only apply to one school and you don't get in, you will have a lot of problems. Apply to at least two schools, and probably three just to play it safe. Have your top choice, a fallback, and safety school. That way you have options. I hope you get in your first choice!
