How can you not understand?
How much I need you in my life
If only you can be my friend
And listen to me when I cry.
A girl needs her father's love
to be willingly, not forced
She really needs to hear your voice
not only setting certain rules
or telling her what not to do
But also in a quiet time
Just telling her she's fine
Don't talk to her about mistakes
She won't forget them anyway
Just tell her it will be okay
And listen to her when she cries
She really needs her dad tonight
To be at home; to hold her tight.

This poem is about my dad. I guess it's typical for a very lost and confused teenager to not get along with a parent. But I want to have a 'Dad image' in my life. Thats why this poem comes from the deepest parts of my heart. Ps. I would really want to know what other people think about it so pls commet!!!!!!! [;)]
