Hey, I'm a junior in high school and I have my mind set on going to University of Georgia. My G.P.A is 3.5 and I'm taking all college prepartory classes including a college course. There's just on problem I'm not that good a Algebra 2. I do good in class but on test I freeze completely up. Please give me some advice.

have you considered a major yet? since you are still in high school, i'm sure you can get some kind of help from tutors in the math department. if i were you, i wouldn't worry too much about your weakness in algebra 2. if you feel that you are unable to improve in this area even with extra help from friends, family, or tutors, i recommend you NOT going into a major that requires alot of math. keep doing what you're doing. with your high GPA, i guarantee you'll be fine. i'm not sure what university of georgia requirements are for incoming freshman students, but i definately recommend you not slack off like i did in high school. if you are able to make it to your top 10 percent of your senior class. chances are you'll be able to get into alot of colleges without having any problems. good luck!

yeah..last year when i took algebra 2 i was like "this is so hard!!". I was so frustrated[:@]. You should rework the algebra problems over and over until you figure out how to do them(fun, right!!![8|])..then you need to get a friend that you can trust or your teacher to offer you some extra help..it worked for me!![:D]

Hello,

My name is Anih. Firstly, my advice is "Face your fears."[8|] You have to face your fears because if you believe that you are not that good in Algebra2 you will not be good in Algebra2. Also have faith that you can do it u will be surprised with what you do. Try to practice on your skills in Algebra, talk to your counsellor about your fears . Also have a positive attitude when you are taking the test and tell yourself what grade u want to make in it. I bet you will fill better after that.[:D]
