I am in my Freshman year of high school and I have been looking around when it comes to colleges. I know I don't have to worry about it for awhile but I want to be prepared. I am looking into Majoring in Psychology and I want to stay somewhere closer to home. How do I know what I want when looking for colleges? And how do I know what cheaper tuitions are? Thanks! [;)]

look at colleges that are in your city, as well other colleges that are in your state, because the tuition is a lot better if you are a resident of that state that the college is in, also look the accrediation of the college, and how long it takes people with the major you want to do, to graduate, and how soon after graduating, that they get a job, and the ranking and stuff, and how long you have to go, to be able to start working.

wow! i want to study phsycology too! well, what i did to look for colleges was pick out the things i want in a college. like, how big u want the campus, what kind of degree you want (u'd want to get a PH.D, doctoral, or professional degree), if u want sororities or fraternitys, public or private, and other things like that. i suggest you go to [link=http://www.collegeboard.com]www.collegeboard.com[/link] to narrow your choices for college. once it gives you colleges to pick from, it gives you further information on the school... in your case you want to kno how much tuitions are. dont worry, collegeboard has u covered. :]
