Jackson Abresch is a senior and multi-sport athlete at Arrowhead High School. He’s on varsity basketball and varsity football. He has been on varsity football since he was a sophomore and he started at cornerback. He now has offers to play division 1 college football.
And he believes he has had a successful career.
Abresch says, “I’ve been privileged enough to receive some good awards for my performances and colleges talking to me about playing football in college.
Although he likes basketball, his says his favorite sport to play is football.
“I like football better then basketball because I get to hit kids and I just enjoy playing it more.”
He has been grateful to get these offers. A few colleges that have talked to him are Northern Illinois and Winona State. Butler and Valparaiso have given him a scholarship for school and he would be on the football team also.
“Yeah, I love football so much and I’m excited to get the opportunity to keep playing in college.”
Playing in college, he says, would be his dream. And he knows his performance this year determines where he will receive collegiate offers.
“Yeah, I’m pretty pleased with how I’m playing this year. I’ve had some good interceptions but my team has helped me out this year too with getting better.”
He has yet to play at Camp Randall Stadium. He says he all time dream would be to play there in college.
“I’d love to play football of Madison. I’ve been a fan of them since I was a little kid and it would be great to play for them.”
Abresch hasn’t yet gotten an offer from Madison, but he says he’s going to continue to work hard to try to get an offer from them.
“Keep winning. We’ve been doing great so far and it would be great to win the state championship.”
He hopes to end the season with more offers and holding a gold ball up at camp Randall Stadium.
