Family, church, school, and community are all things that are extremely important to me. Family means loving each other no matter what circumstances that you are going through. To be honest, all families are messed up to some extent. The beautiful thing about that is that God put you all together in the same household for a reason: to love each other, forgive, and to never give up even when things seem hopeless. My church holds a very special place in my life. After going through a tragic transformation by being taken from the church I called home, I finally settled down elsewhere. First Baptist Church of Pittsburg, Texas has become my home, and they have been great to me! I am passionate about children, and am honored to hold the title of “Children’s Ministry Intern” at First Baptist. My school is important to me because education is one thing that can never be taken away from you. Some children aren’t even offered an education, and I am blessed that it is a requirement for me. The community of Pittsburg, Texas is about as close knit as they come. I strive to do all that I can to love, inspire, and contribute to my community. I plan on attending the University Of Texas A&M at Commerce in the fall to pursue a degree in Elementary Education while minoring in Spanish.
