My name is Alexis, and I'm new to this website. Since I've been on here I've seen a couple of good posts on here so I decided to do one myself. My school just became a "Mandatory Uniform" school this year, and I personally HATE it ! I'm doing a project where I get insight from other teenagers around the country; about whether they think uniforms are good or not.
They say that the uniforms are to help prevent bullying in school, and it gives our school a good appearance. I've been to two other schools that I had to wear uniforms, and I can tell you that uniforms does not prevent bullying from happening. Even though you're limiting to we wear to school; doesn't mean that kids wouldn't put their twist into their uniforms. There's certain brands that teenagers wear, and If you didn't have that brand you were picked on. There will always be a problem with bullying in school. So there's no use of trying to prevent it by wearing school uniforms.
