So, I started college this fall. But not where I'd "planned to go" because I broke my ankle and things just fell through (long story and not really worth the space). I decided to go to the local community college and finish my Associates of Science, it amounts to 7 courses and graduation, and just transfer next fall.... I've started looking into colleges and even a broader range in degrees and majors now.....

On to my confusion part now... My original plan was to go into Mechanical Engineering but I had been offered a full ride if I went into Architecture so I'm looking into that (its another one of my "dream jobs") but in all of my searching I found out that a Theater major included set design, costume design and that sort of "behind the scenes" work I've been involved in my whole life. I have no idea what to do now or how to even tell my parents about this..... Help?

I would tell them what is going on and talBigGrin k to them about the options. Then I would ask for advice.

If I were you I'd ask my parents, but don't let them talk you into doing something that isn't right for YOU. I would see if I could try out all those things that you're confused about. After doing that you'll have experience and you'll be able to decide for yourself just which one is right and which was wasn't.
