I am seriously debating between Community College and a University. I got accepted to a University that I like, but the cost is an issue.  My parents told me to wait and get my AA at the Community College, whish i understand, but i really want the whole college experience.  Should I wait to get me AA at a Community college to save money, or get the full college experience and take out some loans? Do my costs outweigh my benefits, or will attending a University reverse that? I need advice!

Hi!,

I can say from my previous experience is that you go with the CC option first. Its a great start, plus you will not have to spend tons of money on loans once you get out of college, it can be a disaster. I went to a University for Freshmen year back in 2004, and dropped out of college the follow year because of personal finance. It is alot cheaper to go to the Community College first. I came back to school last year and I'm transfering this Fall to finish my degree. In conclusion, you costs definitely outweigh your benefits, if you get involved in the Community College, you will experience the college life at it's fullest.

Hey!

I can agree with the one above with going to a community college first, but I only plan to start at a community college and then I plan to transfer into a university and going for a better degree.
