he see's her there and smiles bright
he hopes she won't put up a fight
when he gentlemanly asks her to dance
her eyes light up at his advance
shining through the warm dark night
his heart then get's quite a fright
when she comes up and takes his hand
the night turned opposite of bland
and she leaned up for a kiss
and he bent down in a great bliss
and that's when magic filled the air
he stroked his hand through her soft hair
they started dancing round and round
caught in the moment that was profound
they both knew they just had to be
as they went and sat under a tree
all they did was just hold hands
and there was no other demands
but to be together for a while
and make sure to always smile
