I am currently a sophmore in high school and want to get started with scholarships but I am having trouble finding some that sophmores are eligible for. Any ideas?

Go to your local library and check out some of the big scholarship listing books that come out each year. The scholarships listed are very clear about which level of student may apply. (High school sophomore, junior, senior, college students, etc...) Good luck! The website www.how2winscholarships.com also has lots of tips and help on winning scholarships.

Fastweb has a huge database of different scholarships so you should make sure to take a look at their website. Dont forget to complete a FAFSA application to apply for financial aid and school grants. There are also many other college grants available from your state government and private organizations. So search the net for additional info about these opportunities.

Probably the most comprehensive scholarship website I have even seen till date is http://www.collegescholarships.org/grants/ They have all sort of information regarding scholarship, grants and financial aid. If you can find any answer there you can Google scholarship and most of the websites on which come first are all good sources of information. I'm a pharmacy technician and for my first training I found financial assistance and I have to read and research thoroughly before I started the process.
