Next Step is a college planning Web site. We have an annual scholarship giveaway where you can win up to a year of free tuition. The winner will be selected at the end of this month. We do not offer (and have never offered) grants.

So be registering to this, you are not guaranteed money. I just want to know if everybody that joins this will get the money for college.

By planning ahead and applying to many scholarships online, or just by visiting your school counselor and picking up scholarship applications, you will have more of a opportunity for grant money and scholarships. Keep in mind that colleges that accept you send you a financial package that includes their own scholarships, too. I am a senior at St. John Fisher College and received a Cardinal Scholarship of $10,000 that is specific to my school. Ask on college tours about scholarships offered.

Hello, has a winner been chosen for the annual $20,000 scholarship? I was told the winner should be chosen this week but I have heard nothing yet. Could you please update me on the status of the scholarship. Thank you!
