What's the most important thing for high school students to do in preparation for college: score well on standardized tests, or maintain a high GPA, or excell in sports or music?

keep your grades up, and take a variety of classes, it looks good, and you might find something you like, that you never thought you would, and even thoug may not like something, stick with it for the semester or term or what your school is on, to show that you gave it a fair chance.

I kept my GPA high, retook some standardized tests, and got accepted. Of course, it depends. If your major is in sports or the arts, you'll want to take some of those classes. Just do your best--that's all you can do.

i think that getting involve in your school and the community is the best way to stat. this does not mean that you should not keep you grades up and prepare well for the national tests
