keep in mind " i need these credits and there is no point in coming here if im going to blow it" with that in mind have fun but make sure to get enough sleep. do assignments as soon as they are given out. also remember that you can reuse reports and make sure to save any research that you do cuz even if you dont use it you can use it for a future paper.

What I have found is that you should only stick with and really become deeply involved in a very few number of extracurriculars. You should be genuinly interested in them and be more than simply a member. After that, it is up to you to stay organized and maintain your priorities. Keep a planner, don't slack off, and most importantly, ENJOY what you are doing!

I've heard of profs breaking down how much each day's class is and telling the students. Like, "Your parents (or maybe you!) have spent $85 for you to be at class per day. You don't want to waste that money." You could do the math, put the number on a sticky-note, and place it over your study area or on your door. It will remind you to weigh whether you want to study or whether you want to do something else. Just an idea!
