If you want to deactivate your entire Next Step account, you can go to [link=http://www.nextstepmag.com/nextstep/opt-out.aspx]our opt-out page[/link].
This will close your account so you can no longer log in, and you will stop receiving Next News and other e-mails from Next Step. However, any posts you have made in the community will not be deleted and your community profile will still appear (so no one else can use your community screenname).
Also, if you have any forum subscriptions (e-mails you receive when new entries are posted in the community), you will need to deactivate those before you deactivate your Next Step account -- otherwise, you will continue to receive those subscriptions. You can follow the link in the e-mail you receive, or go to [link=http://www.nextstepmag.com/aspplayground/subscribe.aspx]http://www.nextstepmag.com/aspplayground/subscribe.aspx[/link] when you are logged in. Make sure all the checkboxes are unchecked to remove your subscriptions.
