Bridgewater College

Scholarship: President's Merit Plus Scholarship
Amount: Full tuition
Award details: 5-10 scholarships are awarded annually to incoming freshmen based on admissions credentials (SAT of 1300 and above) and a competitive essay.

Scholarship: Freshmen ACE Scholarship
Amount: $14,500-$20,700
Award details: Eligibility and amount are based on cumulative high school GPA, class rank, SAT/ACT test scores and quality of high school curriculum

Scholarship: Transfer ACE Scholarship
Amount: $7,600-$12,00
Award details: Eligibility and amount are based on credits earned and cumulative GPA for all college work. $3,000 and $5,000 Transfer Grants are also available in addition to the ACE Scholarship

Lynchburg College

Scholarship: Academic Scholarships
Amount: $3,000-$14,000 renewable
Award details: Must be admitted full-time and traditional age (18-24); students are automatically considered for academic scholarships. Eligibility is based on SAT or ACT and cumulative GPA.

Scholarship: Scholarship Competition Awards
Amount: $1,500-$5,000
Award details: The competition is open to admitted, full0time traditional age students (18-24) with an academic profile of approximately 3.0 GPA and SAT/ACT score of 1050. A separate application is required and an invitation must be offered to participate in the on-campus competition.

Scholarship: Visual and Performing Arts Scholarship Competition
Amount: $1,000-$3,000
Award details: The competition is open to admitted, full0time traditional age students (18-24) who demonstrate talent in vocal, instrumental, art or theatre performance. A separate application is required and an invitation must be offered to participate in the on-campus audition.

Scholarship: Provost Scholarship
Amount: $3,000 to $6,000 for Maryland residents; $6,000 to $14,000 for non-residents. (renewable
Award details: Incoming first-time freshmen  entering in the fall semester.  Selection criteria vary each academic year.  During prior years, offers were only made to students with SATs near 1800 and GPAs of 3.8 or higher.  These awards are not available to students entering in the spring semester.

Award details: Incoming first-time freshmen  and transfer students entering in the fall semester who have been admitted to the Honors College. These scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis and the selection criteria varies each year.

Scholarship: Community Enrichment and Enhancement (CEEP)
Amount: $1,000-$4,000 per year for 4 years
Award details: This scholarship is open to continuing freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior students.  Student must be willing to commit up to 10 hours per week to being involved in activities that benefit the Towson University community. One of the activities must have a multicultural focus.

Scholarship: Girl Scout Scholarship
Amount: $1,000 one time up to $10,000 per year
Award details: Student must provide an official letter from the Girl Scout Troop in which she is currently active along with  confirmation of her highest level of scouting.

Scholarship: Clare Boothe Luce Scholarship
Amount: Varies
Award details: As a current Trinity student, you can apply for the CBL Scholarship if you are in a STEM major and plan a career in research.

Scholarship: Global Leadership Award
Amount: $10,000 up to $12,000 per year as long as a 3.0 or higher university GPA is maintained.
Award details: All applicants are considered for this scholarship upon application for admission and completion of the application and supporting documents. Students who have a high school GPA of 3.4 or higher on a 4.0 scale, are in leadership positions within their high school co-curricular acitivities or community activities, and have a solid record of giving back to their community are selected.

Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets

Scholarship: Emerging Leader Scholarship
Amount: $8,000 (in-state) or $12,000 (out-of-state) over 4 years
Award details: Be one of the first 100 in-state or first 100 out-of-state cadets to accept an offer of admission from Virginia Tech and return the matriculation fee, and you will be awarded the Emerging Leader Scholarship.
